This was your typical East York semi-detached home that was outdated and required updating. The clients contacted us after seeing our work next door, where we had built a similar home addition the previous year. The work consisted of demolishing an old addition and adding on a new main floor kitchen addition. The 2nd floor of the addition housed the new master bedroom with ensuite. The existing space was also modernized with new flooring, trim, doors, glass railings and lighting to name a few. As with most older Toronto home renovations, we found a few surprises behind the walls which added some time and cost to the project, but in the end, was well worth taking the time to fix as clients are ecstatic about their new home.
